LPC Supervisor outside of Dallas, Texas

 

I am approved by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors to provide supervision to LPC interns who acquire a temporary license and wish to work toward their required experience. LPC interns must provide their own liability insurance and secure an intern site. I charge a monthly LPC Supervision monthly fee of $250. This fee covers:

 

• Individual weekly supervision sessions

• Group supervision, when feasible

• Feedback and guidance on counseling techniques, application of theories, differential diagnosis, and ethics

• Review of case notes and other documentation and/or recorded client sessions, as feasible and appropriate.

• Phone or email consultation for emergency or time sensitive situations or events

 

 

Clinically, I come from an Adlerian perspective. I very much believe that individuals have within themselves everything they need to grow and thrive. I believe that it is through  relationships with others that we learn about ourselves and begin the growth process. This belief is also reflected in my supervision style. I use a developmental model and feel that it is my primary role to guide the natural and organic process of counselor development.
