About me

I have provided counseling services for over 14 years, and have superivsed LPC Interns for the past three years. My areas of expertise are trauma, anxiety and depression, and I have worked with adults and children as young as three. I have extensive experience working with military veterans and first responders. I am trained in Equine Assisted Counseling and Play Therapy, as well as traditional counseling. I currently practice out of Paws for Reflection Ranch in Midolthian, Texas, just outside of Dallas.

My approach

I come from an Adlerian perspective. I very much believe that individuals have within themselves everything they need to grow and thrive. I believe that it is through  relationships with others that we learn about ourselves and begin the growth process.

This belief is also reflected in my supervision style. I use a developmental model and feel that it is my primary role guide the natural and organic process of counselor development.
